Description

The AX1212AEA is a BiCMOS serial-output analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with a 14-bit resolution. It features a high-speed DAC for fast conversion speeds and low-power operation. The ADC has a throughput rate of up to 308k samples per second (ksps) and operates with a power consumption of only 210mW. The MAX121 can be directly connected to the serial port of most popular digital-signal processors and comes in 16-pin DIP and SO packages as well as a smaller 20-pin SSOP package. The ADC is compatible with TTL and CMOS clocks in the frequency range of 1.1MHz to 5.5MHz. It also includes application notes for easy interface to various digital-signal processors.
