    The PC908GR16MFAE is a single-chip microcontroller in a low-cost 8-pin package. It is based on a high-performance processor architecture that executes instructions in two to four clocks, six times the rate of standard 80C51 devices. The PC908GR16MFAE incorporates many system-level functions to reduce component count, board space, and system cost.

    - 1 kB byte-erasable Flash code memory organized into 256-byte sectors and 16-byte pages

    - 128-byte RAM data memory

    - Two 16-bit counter/timers

    - 23-bit system timer that can also be used as a Real-Time clock

    - A single analog comparator with selectable reference source

    - Enhanced UART with fractional baudrate generator, break detect, framing error detection, automatic address detection and versatile interrupt capabilities

    - Internal RC oscillator option allows operation without external oscillator components

    - 2.4 V to 3.6 V VDD operating range with 5 V tolerant I/O pins

    - Up to six I/O pins

    - 8-pin SO-8 package

    - Additional features include a high-performance 80C51 CPU, In-Application Programming (IAP-Lite) and byte erase, Serial Flash In-Circuit Programming (ICP), Watchdog timer, low voltage reset (Brownout detect), idle and Power-down reduced power modes, active-LOW reset, configurable on-chip oscillator, programmable port output configuration options, LED drive capability, controlled slew rate port outputs, interrupt priority levels, keypad interrupt inputs, second data pointer, Schmitt trigger port inputs, and emulation support.
