Description
The CP1001P is an integrated switching regulator that belongs to the NCP1000 to NCP1002 series. It combines a fixed frequency PWM controller with an integrated high voltage power switch circuit. Designed for AC input applications, this chip offers a simple design and minimal parts count for low-cost applications. It is specifically designed for single-ended topology, such as a discontinuous mode flyback with secondary side sensing. With its internal high voltage switch circuit and startup circuit, it can operate continuously over a wide range of inputs from 85 Vac to 265 Vac, making it suitable for use in any existing power system worldwide. Additionally, this chip includes several features like undervoltage lockout, over-temperature protection, bandgap reference, and leading-edge blanking, making it a cost-effective choice.
