The CS49834A-CQZ is a digital signal processor controller designed for audio decoding. It is part of the CS4923/4/5/6/7/8 family of multi-channel digital audio decoders. The CS49834A-CQZ supports Dolby Digital and MPEG-2 Stereo decoding, with additional capabilities such as MPEG-2 multi-channel encoding and DTS decoding.
