The ADSP-TS201SABP-050 is a digital signal processor/controller designed for large signal processing tasks and communications infrastructure. It is equipped with a Static Superscalar architecture that allows the processor to execute up to four instructions each cycle, and provides support for 32- and 40-bit floating-point and 8-, 16-, 32-, and 64-bit fixed-point processing. It has dual computation blocks and dual integer ALUs, providing data addressing and pointer manipulation, and it comes with an integrated I/O that includes a 14-channel DMA controller, external ports, link ports, SDRAM controller, and more. Additionally, it is IEEE compliant and supports up to eight processors on a bus for scalability. The processor’s high-level language-friendly DSP architecture makes programming easier for users, while its low overhead DMA transfers allow for seamless data transfers between internal and external memory.
