Description

The Z86E0612PEC is a One-Time Programmable (OTP) microcontroller belonging to the Z8® family. It is designed to facilitate software development, debugging, and prototyping for small production runs where a masked ROM version is not economically viable. The microcontroller offers three address spaces - Program Memory, Register File, and Expanded Register File (ERF), which supports various memory configurations. The ERF provides four additional control registers that enable access to extra peripheral devices, I/O ports, register addresses, an SPI receive buffer, and SPI compare register. The Z86E0612PEC also features dedicated input and output lines that can be configured under software control to provide timing, status signals, or parallel I/O.
