NT96212FG is a high-performance digital still camera (DSC) and digital video camera (DV) controller. It offers excellent image capturing and video streaming capabilities, making it suitable for resolutions ranging from VGA to 50M pixels. This controller can easily adapt to various high-speed CMOS and conventional CCD image sensors through its on-chip programmable interface timing approach. With built-in hardware acceleration pipeline, the NT96212FG provides sophisticated video processing methods, enabling high performance for per-shot, shot-to-shot, and continuous shooting pictures. It also offers flexible mechanisms for auto white balance, auto exposure, and auto-focusing. The controller supports H.264 video recording up to full-HD 1080p30 and is equipped with an HDMI 1.3 Tx for HDTV output. It provides multiple storage interfaces for still pictures and video streaming data, including USB2.0 high-speed interface for efficient data transfer to/from a PC.
