Description
The KA5M0265RTU is a member of the Fairchild Power Switch(FPS) product family. It is an offline switcher that is specifically designed for an off-line switch mode power supply (SMPS). The KA5M0265RTU incorporates a high voltage power SenseFET and a current mode PWM IC. It features an integrated fixed oscillator, under voltage lock out, leading edge blanking, optimized gate turn-on/turn-off driver, thermal shut down protection, over voltage protection, and temperature compensated precision current sources for loop compensation and fault protection circuitry. By using the KA5M0265RTU, the total component count, design size, weight, and system reliability can be improved while increasing efficiency and productivity. The KA5M0265RTU can be used in a flyback converter or a forward converter for cost-effective designs.
