Description
The ICE3DS01L is a new generation CoolSET™-F3 AC DC converter and offline switcher from Infineon. It is designed to provide active burst mode functionality, allowing it to achieve the lowest standby power requirements of less than 100mW at no load. The controller of the ICE3DS01L is always active during active burst mode, ensuring an immediate response on load jumps without any blackout in the SMPS. The device also features a ripple of less than 1% in the output voltage, reducing noise. In addition, the ICE3DS01L has various protection features, including auto restart mode in cases of overtemperature, VCC overvoltage, output open loop or overload, and VCC undervoltage. It also has an adjustable blanking window to prevent unintentional activation of auto restart mode or active burst mode during high load jumps. The ICE3DS01L is available in a wide power class range of products for various applications.
