Description

This is a versatile and general-purpose voltage regulator, the SG353K-12. It is designed to be an improved replacement for the popular SG723 device. The SG1532 series regulators have all the versatility of the SG723 but with additional benefits. These benefits include operation with input voltages as low as 4.5 volts and as high as 50 volts, a low noise and low voltage reference, temperature compensated and low threshold current limiting, and protective circuits such as thermal shutdown and independent current limiting of both the reference and output voltages. In addition, it comes with a separate remote shutdown terminal. The dual-in-line package option also provides an open collector output for low input-output differential applications.
