Description
The AM5869S is a motor driver IC designed for use with ordinary electronic equipment such as audio-visual equipment, office automation equipment, communications devices, electrical appliances, and electronic toys. It is a 4-channel BTL driver with 2 channels for stepping motors and 1 channel for reversible drivers.
Specifications and features
- A power-saving mode enabled by a power-saver terminal.
- Small surface mounting power package (HSOP-28).
- Separating Vcc into Pre and Pow, which can result in better power efficiency.
- Built-in thermal shut-down circuit.
- Wide dynamic range (<4.0V Typ.) at PreVcc=12V, PowVcc=5V.
- BTL driver with input pins consisting of (+) and (-), allowing for various input types such as differential input.
- Loading driver with adjustable output voltage control terminal (Only "H" side voltage).
- Built-in brake circuit and circuit protection diode.
