The SC14408B80VD is a quartz crystal oscillator that provides enable/disable 3-state LVCMOS compatible signals for bus connected systems. It operates at a wide frequency range of 80.0MHz to 125.0MHz and is available with user specified tolerance. The oscillator is designed to withstand vapor phase temperatures of 253°C for a maximum of 4 minutes. It is a space-saving alternative to discrete component oscillators and operates at 2.5 Volts. The SC14408B80VD has high shock resistance, up to 1000g, and low jitter. It is also characterized by high reliability and high Q Crystal actively tuned oscillator circuit. The oscillator has no internal PLL, which avoids cascading PLL problems. The metal lid of the SC14408B80VD is electrically connected to ground to reduce EMI, and the pads are gold plated.
