Description

The S-1112/1122 Series is a positive voltage regulator with a low dropout voltage, high output voltage accuracy, and low current consumption developed based on CMOS technology. It has a built-in low on-resistance transistor that provides a low dropout voltage and large output current. An overcurrent protector is also built-in to prevent the load current from exceeding the current capacitance of the output transistor. With an ON/OFF circuit, it ensures a long battery life. Compared with voltage regulators using the conventional CMOS process, this model allows for a larger variety of capacitors, including small ceramic capacitors. It comes in small SNT-6A(H) and SOT-23-5 packages, which enable high-density mounting. The SOT-23-5 package includes both the S-1112 and S-1122 Series, which differ in pin configuration.
