Description
NEC UPB1007K-E1-A is a Silicon RFIC designed specifically for low-cost GPS receivers. This integrated circuit (IC) combines an LNA (Low-Noise Amplifier), a double conversion RF/IF (Radio Frequency/Intermediate Frequency) downconverter block, and a PLL (Phase-Locked Loop) frequency synthesizer on a single chip. Additionally, it features an on-board crystal oscillator with a working frequency of up to 16 MHz, which can be used as a CPU reference for fast locking.
The UPB1007K-E1-A operates on a 3 V supply voltage and comes in a small 36-pin QFN (Quad Flat No-lead) package, ensuring low power consumption and reduced board space. It is manufactured using the state-of-the-art UHS0 25 GHz fT (transition frequency) silicon bipolar process. NEC's stringent quality assurance and testing procedures guarantee the highest levels of reliability and performance.
