Description
The ADRF6655ACPZ is a broadband active mixer with an integrated fractional-N PLL and VCO. It has a high dynamic range and a flexible IF output interface. The mixer is designed for use in RF mixers and has an RF input frequency range of 100 MHz to 2500 MHz and an internal LO frequency range of 1050 MHz to 2300 MHz. The device features a programmable integer-N/fractional-N PLL that generates a local oscillator input for the mixer. The PLL reference input is nominally 20 MHz and can support input reference frequencies from 10 MHz to 160 MHz. The mixer's phase detector controls a charge pump whose output is integrated in an off-chip loop filter. The loop filter output is then applied to an integrated VCO. The VCO output at 2×fLO is then applied to a local oscillator divider as well as to a programmable PLL divider. The device has a 40-lead 6 mm × 6 mm LFCSP.
