Description
The HMC529LP5ETR is a compact I/Q MMIC mixer that can be used as either an Image Reject Mixer or a Single Sideband Upconverter. It is a smaller alternative to hybrid style Image Reject Mixers and Single Sideband Upconverter assemblies. The chip utilizes two standard Hittite double balanced mixer cells and a 90-degree hybrid fabricated in a GaAs MESFET process. It has a wide IF bandwidth from DC to 3.5 GHz and offers a high input IP3 of +27 dBm. With an image rejection of 35 dB and LO to RF isolation of 45 dB, it is suitable for various applications, including point-to-point and point-to-multi-point radio systems, as well as military radar.
