µPD75104CW-079 is a 4-bit single-chip microcomputer that integrates timer/event counters, a serial interface, and a vector interrupt function. It also includes a CPU, ROM, RAM, and I/O ports on a single chip. This microcomputer operates at high speeds and allows data manipulation in units of 1, 4, or 8 bits. It provides various bit manipulation instructions to enhance I/O manipulation capability. Additionally, it has I/Os for interfacing with peripheral circuits operating on different supply voltages, outputs that can directly drive LEDs, and analog inputs. This makes µPD75104CW-079 suitable for controlling systems such as VTRs, acoustic products, button telephones, radio communications equipment, and printers. There is also a pin-compatible EPROM model available for evaluation of system development and small-scale production of application systems.
