The HFBR-R/EXXYYYZ series of plastic fiber optic cables, specifically the HFBR-RUD100Z model, are designed for various applications in the field of fiber optic communication. These cables are constructed with a single step-index fiber, enclosed in a durable black polyethylene jacket. The duplex fiber consists of two simplex fibers joined together with a zipcord web.

- Available in two grades: standard Plastic Optical Fiber (POF) with 0.22 dB/m typical attenuation, or extra low-loss POF with 0.19 dB/m typical attenuation.
