The AD6546 is a monolithic V/F converter designed for electronic applications. It consists of an input amplifier, a precision oscillator system, and a high current output stage. This component requires only a single RC network to set up any full scale (FS) frequency up to 500 kHz and any FS input voltage up to ±30 V. With a linearity error of only 0.03% for a 250 kHz FS, it offers reliable and accurate performance over an 80 dB dynamic range. The overall temperature coefficient is typically ±50 ppm/°C, ensuring stable operation. With a wide operating range of 5 V to 36 V and low power consumption of 2.0 mA quiescent current, the AD6546 is a cost-effective and efficient choice for many electronic projects.
