MT6A01: Electronic Component for AVR Series AVR-M, AVRL Types

The MT6A01 is a varistor, a voltage dependent nonlinear resistive component used to protect electronic circuits from voltage spikes and surges. This component has a resistance that decreases rapidly when the voltage exceeds a certain, constant value. The varistor has a symmetrical current-voltage characteristic which means that it does not have polarity. The MT6A01 is equivalent to a Zener diode of two series connection and has excellent electrostatic absorption capability. It has a wide range of varistor voltages available in series from 6.8 to 39V and low capacitance items are also available in the series from 1.1pF.
