Description
The 79M15AUC is a 3-terminal negative voltage regulator from the NJM79L00 series. This regulator is constructed using the New JRC Planar epitaxial process, which provides excellent performance and reliability. It features internal current-limiting and thermal shutdown capabilities, making it essentially indestructible. With adequate heat sinking, the 79M15AUC can deliver up to 100mA output current. It is designed to be used as a fixed voltage regulator in various applications, including local or on-card regulation for noise and distribution issues commonly associated with single-point regulation.
