Description
The MAX8934GETI is a dual-input Li+/Li-Poly linear battery charger with Smart Power SelectorK. It is designed to safely charge a single Li+/Li-Poly cell in accordance with JEITA recommendations. The charger monitors the battery temperature while charging and automatically adjusts the fast-charge current and charge termination voltage based on the temperature. It also monitors the battery temperature during discharge and provides a warning flag to the system in case of overheating. The MAX8934GETI also includes an ultra-low IQ, always-on LDO that provides an additional 3.3V supply for system power.
