The HD404849A16H is part of the HD404849 series of HMCS400-series microcomputers. It is a versatile electronic component designed to increase program productivity and incorporates a large-capacity memory. This microcomputer features an LCD controller/driver, A/D converter, input capture circuit, 32-kHz oscillator for clock use, and four low-power dissipation modes.

- Subroutine stack up to 16 levels, including interrupts
- Four low-power dissipation modes:
- Standby mode
- Stop mode

- One external input for transition from stop mode to active mode
