Description
The SY88903ALKGTR is a special purpose amplifier, specifically designed for use in fiber-optic receivers in passive optical networks (PONs). It is a burst mode, high-sensitivity limiting post amplifier that connects to transimpedance amplifiers (TIAs). This amplifier quantizes the linear signal output from TIAs, which can contain noise and vary in amplitude over time, and outputs PECL level waveforms.
