Description
The AD8336ACPZ is a single-ended, linear-in-dB, general-purpose variable gain amplifier designed for special purpose amplifiers in industrial process controls, high performance AGC systems, I/Q signal processing, video, industrial, and medical ultrasounds, and radar receivers. Its uncommitted preamplifier has a gain range of 6 dB to 26 dB that can be altered externally, and the VGA range is 0 dB to 60 dB. By setting the preamplifier gain to 12 dB, the 3 dB bandwidth of the preamp and VGA combined is 100 MHz, which makes the amplifier fully operational up to 80 MHz.
