Description
The SI9241EY-T1 is an electronic component, specifically an IC chip, designed to interface between the Intel 82526 CAN controller and the physical bus. It provides drive capability to the bus and differential receive capability to the controller. Additionally, it is designed to absorb typical electrical transients on the bus that may occur in automotive or industrial applications and protect itself against any abnormal bus conditions. During these abnormal conditions, the transmitter of the SI9241EY-T1 will be disabled and re-enabled once the abnormal condition is cleared.
