Electronic Component Model: U420B is an N-Channel enhancement mode power field effect transistor produced by Fairchild using proprietary planar DMOS technology. It is designed to minimize on-state resistance and provide superior switching performance. This transistor can withstand high energy pulses in the avalanche and commutation mode, making it suitable for applications such as high efficiency switch mode power supplies, power factor correction, and electronic lamp ballasts based on half bridge.
