H27UEG8YEAYR is a 512Mx8bit with spare 16Mx8 bit capacity. It is a NAND Flash device that provides a cost-effective solution for the solid-state mass storage market. The memory is divided into blocks that can be erased independently, allowing for the preservation of valid data while old data is erased. The device contains 4096 blocks composed of 64 pages, and the memory array is split into 2 planes, each consisting of 2048 blocks. It has a program operation that allows for writing a 2112-byte page in typical 200us (3.3V) and an erase operation that can be performed in typical 3.5ms on a 128K-byte block. The multi-plane architecture of the device allows for the reduction of program time by 40% and erase time by 50%. However, there is a small degradation in program/erase time at 1.8V application.
