Description

The ICE3B0565 is a new generation CoolSET-F3 electronic component manufactured by Infineon. It is an IC chip designed to provide active burst mode and achieve the lowest standby power requirements, less than 100mW at no load. With active burst mode, the controller is always active, allowing for an immediate response on load jumps without any black out in the SMPS. It also reduces the ripple of the output voltage to less than 1%. Additionally, the ICE3B0565 enters auto restart mode in cases of overtemperature, VCC overvoltage, output open loop, overload, and VCC undervoltage, increasing the robustness and safety of the system. The precise peak current limitation of the ICE3B0565 enables the dimensions of the transformer and secondary diode to be lowered, leading to cost efficiency. It features an adjustable blanking window to prevent unintentional activation of auto restart or active burst mode during high load jumps. The ICE3B0565 is part of the CoolSET-F3 family, which offers a wide power class range for various applications.
