The µPD70322L-8-228 is a single-chip microcontroller with a 16-bit CPU, RAM, serial interface, timer, DMA controller, and interrupt controller. It is compatible with the µPD70108/70116 microprocessors on a software level. The µPD70322L-8-228 features an internal 16-bit architecture, an external 8-bit data bus, and a minimum instruction cycle of 250 ns/8 MHz. It has on-chip RAM, input ports with comparators, I/O lines, serial interfaces, an interrupt controller, and programmable priority levels. It also has a DMA controller, 16-bit timer, on-chip clock generator, and standby function.
