Description
The MSM7524 is a single chip DTMF transceiver-generator/receiver with a call progress tone generator/detector and a special tone detector. It can be controlled by an external MCU via a 4-bit processor interface. This chip operates with a +5 V single supply and has low power consumption, making it suitable for telephone terminal equipment.
