The PZ3032-12A44 is a CPLD (Complex Programmable Logic Device) from Philips Semiconductors. It belongs to the Fast Zero Power (FZP™) CPLDs family and offers high speed and zero power consumption. The device has 32 macrocells and utilizes FZP™ design technique to achieve true pin-to-pin speeds of 8ns. It requires less than 35µA of power in standby mode without the need for any power down schemes. The PZ3032-12A44 employs a cascaded chain of pure CMOS gates instead of conventional sense amplifier methods, resulting in significantly lower dynamic power compared to other CPLDs, around 70% lower at 50MHz.
