Description
The SSD1829Z is a single-chip CMOS LCD driver with controller designed for liquid crystal dot-matrix graphic display systems. It consists of 194 high voltage driving output pins for driving 128 Segments, 64 Commons, and 2 icon driving Commons. The SSD1829Z displays data directly from its internal 128x65/128x81 bits Graphic Display Data RAM (GDDRAM). Data/Commands can be sent from a general MCU through a selectable 6800-/8080-series compatible Parallel Interface or a 3/4-wire Serial Peripheral Interface. With its integrated DC-DC Converter, LCD Voltage Regulator, On-Chip Bias Divider, and On-Chip Oscillator, the SSD1829Z reduces the need for external components. It is suitable for portable battery-driven applications requiring long operation periods and a compact size.
