Description
The SP206CT is a multi-channel RS-232 line transceiver in a compact SOIC package. It is part of the SP200 Series, which offers a variety of configurations to fit different communication needs. The transceiver features low-power CMOS construction and on-board charge pump circuitry to generate the ±10V RS-232 voltage levels. It utilizes 0.1µF charge pump capacitors, saving board space and reducing circuit cost. The SP206CT also includes a low-power shutdown mode, reducing power supply drain to 1µA, and a WakeUp function to keep the receivers active in the shutdown mode.
