    The Allegro® A8437ECGLT is a Xenon photoflash charger IC specifically designed for ultra-low power, small form factor cameras, particularly camera-phones. It offers an adjustable charge current limit ranging from 0.4 to 1.2 A maximum. The A8437ECGLT utilizes primary-side voltage sensing, eliminating the need for a resistive voltage divider on the secondary side of the transformer and reducing leakage currents. This IC also features very low supply current draw, consuming only 0.1 μA in shutdown mode and 10 μA in standby mode, extending battery life.
