    The TPS65217CRSLR is a single-chip power management IC (PMIC) designed for the AM335x ARM Cortex-A8 processor in portable and 5-V line-powered applications. It is equipped with features such as a linear battery charger, a dual-input power path, three step-down converters, four low-dropout (LDO) regulators, and a high-efficiency boost converter, which can power two strings of up to 10 LEDs each. The PMIC can be powered by a USB port, a 5-volt AC adapter, or a Li-ion battery.
