Description
ISL83385EIBZ-T is a RS-232 transmitters/receivers electronic component model that operates at a voltage range between +3V and +5.5V. It is designed to meet the ElA/TIA-232 and V.28/V.24 specifications, even at a voltage as low as 3.0V. This component is ideal for PDAs, Palmtops, and notebook and laptop computers, where low power consumption is essential. It features efficient on-chip charge pumps and a manual powerdown function that reduces the standby supply current to 1µA. The small footprint packaging and use of small, low value capacitors contribute to board space savings. Additionally, it is fully compatible with 3.3V only systems, mixed 3.3V and 5.0V systems, and 5.0V only systems.
