Description

The ML4410CQ is a high-performance integrated circuit (IC) chip designed for the commutation of delta or wye wound Brushless DC (BLDC) motors. Unlike traditional commutation methods that require signals from Hall Effect Sensors, this IC utilizes back electromotive force (EMF) to determine the proper commutation phase angle. With phase lock loop (PLL) techniques, the ML4410CQ can effectively commutate virtually any 3-phase BLDC motor, while being immune to PWM noise and motor snubbing. It is an enhanced version of the ML4411, offering improved braking and brown-out recovery circuitry.
