The P89C51RD2-1L is a single-chip 8-bit microcontroller that belongs to the 80C51 microcontroller family. It is manufactured using advanced CMOS process and has a non-volatile Flash program memory of 64kB. The microcontroller supports both parallel programmable and serial In-System and In-Application Programming. It can be programmed while in the application or remotely over a modem link. The device executes one machine cycle in 6 clock cycles, providing twice the speed of a conventional 80C51. The instruction set is 100% compatible with the 80C51.
