The HMC707LP5ETR is a digitally controlled variable gain amplifier designed for operating in the frequency range of 700 MHz to 1200 MHz. It offers a programmable gain range from -2.5 dB attenuation to 29 dB of gain, with a step size of 0.5 dB. In its maximum gain state, the HMC707LP5ETR delivers a noise figure of 0.8 dB and an output IP3 of up to +38 dBm. It features a dual-mode gain control interface that can be controlled via a three-wire serial input or a 6-bit parallel word. Additionally, it offers a user-selectable power-up state and a serial output for cascading other Hittite serially controlled components.
