The FCT162501CTPV is a 74FCT162501CTPV universal bus function electronic component. It is an 18-bit registered transceiver built with advanced dual metal CMOS technology. This high-speed and low-power component combines D-type latches and flip-flops to allow data flow in transparent, latched, and clocked modes.

- High drive outputs (-32mA IOH, 64mA IOL)
- Power off disable outputs permit "live insertion"
- Output Ground Bounce (VOLP) of less than 1.0V at VCC = 5V, TA = 25°C
The FCT162501AT/CT/ET version of the component has its own features, including:
- Balanced Output Drivers: ±24mA (commercial), ±16mA (military)
- Reduced system switching noise
- Output Ground Bounce (VOLP) of less than 0.6V at VCC = 5V, TA = 25°C
The FCT162H501AT/CT/ET version of the component has the following feature:
- Bus Hold retains last active bus state during 3-state
- Eliminates the need for external pull-up resistors
