Description
The 74HCT299M is a high-speed Si-gate CMOS device that is pin-compatible with Low-power Schottky TTL (LSTTL) devices. It is specified in compliance with JEDEC standard no. 7A. The device features multiplexed inputs/outputs for improved bit density and four operating modes: shift left, shift right, hold (store), and load data. It operates with output enable or at high-impedance OFF-state (Z) and has 3-state outputs that drive bus lines directly. The 74HCT299M is also cascadable for n-bit word lengths and provides ESD protection exceeding 2000 V (HBM JESD22-A114E) and 200 V (MM JESD22-A115-A). It is specified for operation in a temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C and -40 °C to +125 °C.
