Description
The RS5C348A-E2-F is a CMOS real-time clock IC connected to the CPU by four signal lines. It is designed to perform serial transmission of time and calendar data to the CPU. This IC features a periodic interrupt circuit with six selectable interrupts ranging from 0.5 seconds to 1 month. It also has two alarm interrupt circuits that generate interrupt signals at preset times. The oscillation circuit is driven under constant voltage, resulting in a small frequency fluctuation and low time keeping current. The oscillation halt sensing circuit can be used to judge the validity of internal data during power-on events. This model comes in an ultra-compact SSOP10 package.
