Description
The W39L020P-70B is a 2-megabit electronic component, categorized as an IC chip. It is a 3.3-volt only CMOS flash memory that is organized as 512K x 8 bits. This flash memory is known for its flexible erase capability, as the 4 megabits of data are divided into 8 uniform sectors of 64 kilobytes. It can be easily programmed and erased in-system with a standard 3.3V power supply. However, an accelerated program requires a 12-volt VPP. The W39L020P-70B is designed with a unique cell architecture that enables fast program/erase operations while consuming extremely low current. It offers two modes of operation: the Programmer bus interface mode and the Low pin count (LPC) bus interface mode. In the Programmer interface mode, it acts like a traditional flash memory with multiplexed address inputs. In the LPC interface mode, it complies with the Intel LPC specification. Additionally, this device can also be programmed and erased using standard EPROM programmers.
