Description
The SP488ACT is a high-speed quad differential line receiver capable of meeting the RS-485 and RS-422 protocols while running at five times the normal transmission rates. It is an enhanced version of Sipex's SP488 quad RS-485/RS-422 line receiver. The SP488ACT features a common receiver enable control and tri-state outputs. It has a wide common-mode input range and a fail-safe feature that forces a logic "1" output when receiver inputs are left floating. The SP488ACT is available in a 16-pin plastic DIP and SOIC package.
