Description
The VPC3230D-QA-C5 is a high-quality, single-chip video front-end designed for TV sets. It is compatible with both 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios, as well as 50/60Hz and 100/120Hz. This component can be used on its own or in combination with other members of the DIGIT3000 IC family, such as the DDP331x, or with third-party products.

- Four CVBS inputs, one S-VHS input, and one CVBS output
- Two RGB/YCrCb component inputs and one Fast Blank (FB) input
- Integrated high-quality A/D converters with clamp and AGC circuits
- Multi-standard sync processing
- Linear and non-linear horizontal scaling capabilities
- PAL+ preprocessing
- Line-locked clock, data, and sync, or 656-output interface
- Adjustable settings for peaking, contrast, brightness, color saturation, and tint
- High-quality soft mixer controlled by Fast Blank
- PIP (Picture-in-Picture) processing with multiple display configurations
- Control interface for external field memory
- I2C-bus interface
- Requires only a 20.25-MHz crystal and few external components
- Comes in an 80-pin PQFP package
