The D8751H-8 is an electronic component model in the IC Chips product category. In addition to being fully compatible with the 8051AH, the D8751H-8 incorporates a Program Memory Security bit that can be used to protect the EPROM against unauthorized readout. However, the D8751H-8 is limited to operating up to 8 MHz.
The D8751H-8 is part of the 8051 family of microcontrollers. It is identical to the 8051AH with the exception of the Protection Feature. Program verification has been disabled and external memory accesses have been limited to 4K. The D8751H-8 is also an enhanced version of the 8051AH, fabricated with HMOS II technology, and offers several enhancements such as internal timers/event counters, a 2-level interrupt priority structure, 32 I/O lines (four 8-bit ports), 64K external program memory space, and a security feature that protects EPROM parts against software piracy. It also includes a Boolean processor, bit-addressable RAM, and a programmable full-duplex serial channel.
