Description
The µPD750004GB(A)-902-3B4 is a 4-bit single-chip microcontroller in the 75XL series. It offers data processing capability equivalent to that of an 8-bit microcontroller. This advanced model, with enhanced CPU function, operates at a low voltage of 2.2 V and can be used as a substitute for the previous µPD75008 model. It is particularly suitable for applications that utilize batteries. Additionally, the µPD750004GB(A)-902-3B4 provides higher reliability than the µPD750008.
For small-scale production and application system evaluation, there is also a built-in one-time PROM product available, known as µPD75P0016.

The µPD750004GB(A)-902-3B4 offers the following features:
- Capable of low-voltage operation: VDD = 2.2 to 5.5 V
- Internal memory:
- Program memory (ROM): 4096 × 8 bits (µPD750004 and µPD750004(A)), 6144 × 8 bits (µPD750006 and µPD750006(A)), 8192 × 8 bits (µPD750008 and µPD750008(A))
- Data memory (RAM): 512 × 4 bits
- Function for specifying the instruction execution time, useful for high-speed operation and power saving:
- 0.95 µs, 1.91 µs, 3.81 µs, 15.3 µs (when operating at 4.19 MHz)
- 0.67 µs, 1.33 µs, 2.67 µs, 10.7 µs (when operating at 6.0 MHz)
- 122 µs (when operating at 32.768 kHz)
- Enhanced timer function (4 channels)
- Easily substitute for the µPD75008 model as it inherits its functions and instructions
