Description
The LTC1731EMS8-8.4#PBF is a complete constant current/constant-voltage linear charger controller designed for 2-cell lithium-ion (Li-Ion) batteries. It can also charge nickel-cadmium (NiCd) and nickel-metal-hydride (NiMH) batteries with constant current using external termination. The charge current can be set with 7% accuracy using an external sense resistor. The float potential is set with 1% accuracy using an internal resistor divider and precision reference. The output float voltage is internally set to either 8.2V (LTC1731-8.2) or 8.4V (LTC1731-8.4)
