Description
The RP5C01 is a real-time clock designed for microcomputers with compatible CPUs such as the 8085A or Z80. It can be directly connected to the CPU bus and allows for easy setting and reading of the clock using standard memory read/write procedures. The RP5C01 offers various features including clock and calendar counters, alarm functions, and a 26 x 4bits RAM that can be backed up by batteries, making it ideal for non-volatile RAM applications.
